Are you interested in Online training in ASD or FASD?
Then Online training in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorders and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders offered by the University of Minnesota Duluth Continuing Education department is right for you!
The first 4 credit course in each series begins this summer! (June 6th).
This training is a must for Educators, Counselors, Health Care Professionals, and others who work with children or youth with Autism or Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
Take the first class as a stand-alone course or complete all three and earn the certificate.

- Social & Communication Skills for FASD – 4 crs – offered in fall.
- Professional Methods for working with FASD – 4 crs – offered in spring.

Nurturing Nature Workshop: Environmental Sustainability for Teachers and Parents of young children.
An invitation to teachers, daycare providers, and parents!
Enjoy a day learning fun ideas and hands-on activities that will help you to shape a child’s experience with the environment! This workshop is based on the Project Learning Tree program. Participants will have an opportunity to purchase the state and national early childhood curriculum.

* Teachers can earn 7.5 clock hours towards re-licensure in the area of science.
* All participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from the University of Minnesota Duluth - Continuing Education.
Register early to insure your place in the workshop! Use the attached registration form to register. You can mail, fax, or drop off the registration form once completed.
During this exciting day of activity, be prepared to spend time outdoors at UMD’s beautiful Bagley Nature Center. Bring along a bag lunch and enjoy a “picnic” by the pond or inside the Bagley classroom overlooking a nature setting.
